This section is about copying and duplicating molecules in the bench.
Sometimes, we manually attach R-groups or compound fragments when performing fragment-based drug discovery.
This is especially important in the case of molecular match pairs, and many users utilize this feature.
The copy function, in particular, is frequently used.
Fragments can be attached manually rather than through Hyper Design using this function.
Also, this function would allow sharing your molecules.
Click on the checkbox
, and an action bar will appear at the bottom of the window.
By clicking the arrow next to Duplicate
, you will see two options.
To share your molecules with project members, click on Project bench
. You can find your duplicated molecules in the Project bench
. They will be renamed with '_duplicated' after your molecule names.
To copy your molecules, click My bench
. They will be renamed with '_duplicated' after your molecule names.
To use your molecules as a scaffold, you can use Draw to copy
option.
Click on Draw to copy
, a molecule editing window will appear with your molecule.
Modify the molecule and click Add
to duplicate it.
Click the Delete
button to delete the selected molecule.
The other button on the notice bar will be explained in another section.
