2-Step Authentication Process

As there are security measures such as fingerprint recognition at the office entrance, Lab space, Hyper Lab's digital lab, also has an OTP security measure.

Since security is essential for all research data, OTP enables users to enter the Lab space through a 2-step authentication process.

1. Click the Lab space you wish to register the OTP.

2. Follow [Step 1] Install the OTP app

• Click [iOS] if you are an iPhone user or [Android] if you are a Android phone user.

• To install the OTP app, search for it on the "App Store" or "Play Store" or scan the QR code with your phone camera to proceed with the installation.

• If you already have an OTP app installed, you can skip to the next step.

• The email needed for OTP app login does not have to match your Hyper Lab account email.

Note: currently not tested with Chinese phone e.g. Xiaomi Redmi series

1. Follow [Step 2] Register your OTP.

• Open the OTP app and scan the QR code at the bottom.

  • For Google Authenticator: Open the app > Log in > Click the + button at the bottom right > Scan the QR code.

  • For Microsoft Authenticator: Open the app > Log in > Click Verified ID at the bottom right > Scan the QR code.

• Once you complete the OTP registration, a code with your lab space name will be generated in the OTP app. Click the code to see the verification number.

1. Follow [Step 3] Enter the OTP verification number.

• Check the six-digit verification number in the OTP app, then enter it in the verification number field.
