HyperLab Version : 2024.12.13

📢 Changelogs

1. Improvement to allow creation of multiple Benches

Previously limited to only two types, My Bench and Project Bench, the system has been improved to allow the creation of multiple Benches based on type, making it easier to manage data.

(1) Addition of bench list menu

A new Bench list menu has been added to easily manage multiple Benches.

In the Bench list, you can view the list of Benches created within the project. The list of Benches is divided into “Private Bench” and “Shared Bench” based on the type of Bench.

Descriptions for each type of Bench are as follows:

Type
설명

Private Bench

This is a Bench that can be used privately without being shared with other project members.

(It is the same type as the existing My Bench.)

Shared Bench

This is a Bench that is shared with all members within the project and can be used publicly.

(It is the same type as the existing Project Bench.)

(2) Creating a Bench

The feature to create a new Bench can be started from the following locations:

  • Method 1) Click the [Create Bench] button in the Bench list.

  • Method 2) Click the [+] button next to the “Bench List” menu on the left sidebar.

[How to create a Bench]

  1. You will need a name for the new Bench you are creating. It is advisable to enter a name that is easy to distinguish.

  2. Select the type of Bench you want to create.

  3. Once all the information has been entered, click the [Confirm] button to create the Bench.

(3) Bench management features

The following management features are provided for each Bench:

Features
Description

Edit Bench name

You can edit the name of the selected Bench.

Duplicate Bench

You can duplicate the selected Bench, replicating all its data identically.

The type of the Bench to be duplicated can be chosen as either a personal or shared Bench, different from the original.

Switch Bench type(Private ↔︎ Shared)

You can switch the selected Bench from its current type to either a private or shared Bench type.

  • Private Bench: The “Switch to Shared” option is displayed.

  • Shared Bench: The “Switch to Private” option is displayed.

Export Bench

You can export all molecular data from the selected Bench into CSV or SDF files.

Delete Bench

You can delete the selected Bench.

Bench management features are provided at the following locations:

  • Method 1) Click the […] button in the “Bench Management” column of the Bench list.

  • Method 2) Click the […] button next to the Bench name on each Bench.

2. Addition of moving molecules feature between Benches

A new feature has been added that allows the transfer of molecules from one Bench to another, facilitating smoother management of molecular data.

[Method of moving molecules]

  1. Select the molecule and click [Move] to launch the ‘Move molecule’ screen.

  1. Choose the Bench to which the molecule will be moved, then click the [Move] button to move the molecule. (When moving the molecule, all data within the Hyper Design hierarchy of the selected molecule is also moved.)

3. Improved method for changing active protein structures

The method of changing active protein structures in My Bench and Project Bench from the Protein structure page has been improved to allow control of active protein structures across multiple Benches.

(1) Protein structure page

Here is how to activate a protein structure for each Bench:

  1. Select the type of Bench for the protein structure you want to activate.

  2. In the Bench list of the selected menu, click to check the Bench where you want to activate the protein structure.

  3. Once the check is complete, the selected protein structure will be activated as the active protein structure in the chosen Bench. (The active protein structure for each Bench can also be changed from the top right corner of each Bench page)

(2) Ref.Molecule page

The method for changing the active protein structure of Ref.Molecule, which was previously influenced by the active protein structure of the existing Project Bench, has been improved to allow changes directly on the page itself.

4. Alarm list improvement

As multiple Benches are utilized, the way alarms were previously provided has also been partially changed.

[Change in Alarm list presentation]

The alarm list, which was previously divided into All, My Bench, and Project Bench, is now provided as a single unified notification list.

[Partial change in Alarm content]

The source of alarms, which was previously provided only up to the project name, has been changed to include the Bench name as well.

  • Previous source notation: Lab space name / Project name / Active protein structure name (only applicable to some calculation notifications)

  • Changed source notation: Project name / Bench name / Active protein structure name (only applicable to some calculation notifications)

5. Partial exclusion of features within Lab spaces and Projects

Some features previously provided in Lab spaces and Projects have been removed.

Thank you for using these features until now. We plan to improve and provide these features as better versions in the future.

[Excluded features in Lab space]

  1. Announcements

[Excluded features in Project]

  1. Board

  2. Sample Project

6. Update on role-based permissions in Lab spaces and Projects

Due to the exclusion of some features in Lab spaces and Projects and changes allowing the creation of multiple Benches, the details of role-based permissions provided in LabSpaces and Projects have been updated.
