Bench List

Once you enter a project, you can view the Bench List screen. In the Bench List, you can see a list of all the Benches you have access to within the project.
1. Bench Types
Benches are divided into two types, each with the following characteristics.
Private Bench
The Private Bench is created by the user and is not accessible by any other project members.
In a Private Bench, the user can freely use all features provided within the Bench.
Shared Bench
The Shared Bench is created by a project member and is accessible by all members within the project, including the user.
In a Shared Bench, some features may be restricted depending on the user’s role within the project.
2. Create Bench

Here’s how to create a new Bench:
Click the
+ Create Bench
button at the top to open the Bench creation screen.Enter the name of the Bench in the Bench creation screen.
Select the Bench type (choose between Personal or Shared).
If you select the Shared Bench type, access may be limited depending on your role in the project.
Click the
Confirm
button to add the new Bench to the Bench list.
3. Bench List Information
The Bench list provides the following information:
3.1. Private Bench
Bench name
The name of the Bench entered when creating or renaming it.
Active protein
The name of the protein currently activated in the Bench.
Molecules
The number of molecules present within the Bench.
Creation date
The date the Bench was created.
3.2. Shared Bench
Bench name
The name of the Bench entered when creating or renaming it.
Active protein
The name of the protein currently activated in the Bench.
Molecules
The number of molecules present within the Bench.
Bench Owner
A project member who owns the shared Bench.
Creation date
The date the Bench was created.
4. Bench Settings

The following features are available for each Bench in the Bench List.
These management features are also available within each individual Bench.
Edit Bench name
You can rename the Bench.
Duplicate Bench
Create a new Bench with the same data as the current Bench.
Switch to Shared
Convert a Personal Bench to a Shared Bench to share it with all members of the project.
Export Bench
Export the molecule data in the Bench as a .sdf or .csv file.
Delete Bench
Delete the Bench.
4.1. Edit Bench Name

When you select Edit Bench name
from the Bench settings menu, the Edit Bench name screen will appear.
Bench names must be unique and cannot be duplicated.
4.2. Duplicate Bench

When you select Duplicate Bench
from the Bench settings menu, the Duplicate Bench screen will appear.
Here’s how to duplicate a Bench:
Set the name for the new Bench. Note that the name must be unique and cannot be duplicated.
Select the Bench type, then click the
Duplicate
button to proceed with the duplication.You can choose the type of the duplicated Bench regardless of the original Bench’s type.
If you select the Shared Bench type, access may be restricted based on your project role.
While the duplication is in progress, you cannot enter the duplicated Bench.
4.3. Switch to a Shared Bench

When you select Switch to Shared
from the Bench settings menu, the Switch to a Shared Bench screen will appear.
[Caution]
If you switch a Private Bench to a Shared Bench, it will be shared with all members of the project.
Once a Bench is switched to a Shared Bench, it cannot be reverted back to a Private Bench.
4.4. Export Bench

When you select Export Bench
from the Bench settings menu, the Export Bench screen will appear.
Clicking the
.sdf
button will download all molecule data in the Bench as an .sdf file.Clicking the
.csv
button will download all molecule data in the Bench as a .csv file.
4.5. Delete Bench

When you select Delete Bench
from the Bench settings menu, the Delete Bench screen will appear.

Enter the exact name of the Bench in the Delete Bench screen.
Click the
Permanently delete
button to delete the Bench permanently.
[Caution]
Once deleted, a Bench cannot be recovered.
For Shared Benches, the delete function may be restricted based on your role within the project.
